  • Message Content: Messages you write, themed tokens you send, and interaction data
  • Device Information: Push notification tokens, device type, and operating system
  • Usage Data: Anonymized information about how you interact with Kindrille features, including frequency of use and feature engagement

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Deliver Services: To send messages and tokens on your behalf and provide core app functionality
  • Push Notifications: To send you timely reminders and daily suggestions for appreciation moments
  • Daily Reminders & Suggestions: To help you remember important dates and suggest people to appreciate
  • Improve the App: To analyze usage patterns and improve features (anonymized)
  • Process Subscriptions: To manage your subscription through Apple's StoreKit and in-app purchase system

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on DigitalOcean servers. We implement multiple layers of security to protect your information:

  • HTTPS Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS
  • Password Security: Passwords are hashed using bcrypt, a secure password hashing algorithm
  • Authentication: Bearer token authentication protects API access to your data
  • Regular Updates: We maintain and update our security infrastructure to protect against emerging threats

Third-Party Services

Kindrille integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Apple Services: We use Apple's App Store for distribution, StoreKit for in-app purchases, and Apple Push Notification service (APNs) for notifications

We do not share your personal data with advertisers or third-party analytics and tracking companies. Your data is not sold or rented to anyone. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs in Kindrille.

Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account remains active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you can request deletion by contacting us at support@kindrille.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of receiving your request.

Children's Privacy

Kindrille is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
